I was invited by whitewallyellowdoor to write some poems in response to a family activity they designed for St Nicholas Priory, the oldest building in Exeter and home to Benedictine monks for 400 years. All activities are available on their website.

For the Wonderful Windows Competition activity, I imagined the empty-stained glass window as a repository for lost objects.
For the Welcome Sign activity, I thought about how the Priory welcomed pilgrims when it was a monastery from the 12th to the 16th century and today’s modern-day ‘pilgrims’, the families who visit it.
