Here you can find my blog Compartmentsee. The name is inspired by a Edward Hopper painting “Compartment C, car 293”. The painting depicts a woman sitting alone in a train carriage and reading, her face half obscured beneath her hat,  travelling at dusk. The ruggedness of the landscape outside suggests a long journey, where hours can go by without seeing a soul in the landscape. This blog could be my Compartment C, a place to think, explore and travel in my mind away from everyday life. A place I invite the reader to take a seat opposite me at any point in the journey.
